Welcome back!

Today I’m doing something a little different! I’m reviewing the Coco and Eve Like A Virgin Hair Masque and Miracle Hair Elixir!

If you’ve been watching our channel for some time - you’ll know I love using natural products such as Argan Oil, Coconut Oil and Castor Oil - but for the first time I’m using a shop bought hair masque!

I’m going to give an honest review - I don’t trust all the claims brands make!

Before I get into the masque - can I just have a moment to show you this packaging.

My order came with this pretty pink tissue paper. On top of the box is a microfibre hair wrap.

Microfibre hair towels are much better for your hair follicles than cotton towels. When you rub your hair roughly with a towel, especially if you wash your hair everyday - it causes frizz, and damages the hair follicles,

Microfiber towel wraps just like - little microfiber towel dishcloths absorb water very easily - and they help to dry thick hair, at a much faster rate than normal large cotton towels!

If you have thick curly hair, the ends of your hair and the top of your hair can dry quickly - but underneath can stay wet for a really long time after washing - microfibres draw all the water out.

I have just washed my hair with a paraben free shampoo.

The instructions say  to smooth the Coco and Eve LIke A Virgin hair mask from root to tip and leave it for up to ten minutes - but I am running short on time today as I’m meeting up with friends for a socially distanced walk!

So I am smoothing the mask though my hair with this brush,  and then I’m going to smooth it back, and when I get home in a few hours I will rinse it out.

  • 5 in 1 treatment
  • Restores dry damaged hair
  • Improves hair texture and shine
  • Hydrates and deeply conditions
  • Treats split ends and tames frizz
  • Transform your hair in only 10 minutes

I’ve got high hopes for the Like a Virgin Hair Masque - and it’s really down to the masque’s ingredients.

They use raw virgin coconuts all the way from Bali - I love coconut oil and I regularly use it on it’s own as a leave in mask - coconut oil reduce inflammation in the scalp,  and adds shine, softness whilst strengthening and repairing hair. Coconut Oil also helps to preventing hair breakage and split ends.

Fig and shea butter add buckets of moisturise, get rid of all the tangles without making hair greasy or heavy.

Linseed improves the gloss and texture so it’s shiny, silky soft to the touch.

Argan Oil treats split ends, tames frizziness, to make your hair more manageable, whilst adding gloss and shine to give pure hair vitality.

The Like a Virgin Mask comes with this brush that’s just like a Tangle Teezer Brush. I can attest that it detangles thick hair really really quickly. Very impressed.
