Finasteride/ Propecia and Minoxidil: The Side Effects-It Really Works Vitamins

Finasteride/ Propecia and Minoxidil: The Side Effects

hair loss, hair vitamins, hair regrow

Unfortunately enough, hair loss is without a doubt a common problem in a lot of people, both men, and women. However, with the advancement of science, technology, and research, scientists have been able to identify and synthesize substances which firmly benefit the prevention of hair loss. These effective hair loss cures do however have some serious effects. The two commonly used ingredients in different hair growth products are Finasteride and Minoxidil.

Let’s take a look at each one of them separately.

Finasteride / Propecia

Propecia or Finasteride as it is commonly referred to, has been available since 1997. The substance is known to block the conversion of testosterone into androgen which is usually responsible for hair loss. However, it’s also capable of nasty side effects.

Propecia is not actually a hair loss cure.  It works for as long as you are taking it and once you stop, hair fall will return, often at a greater rate than first experienced.

As well as this, some of the potential side effects include sexual dysfunction: you may not be able to get/sustain an erection and you could experience a decrease in your sexual desire.

Minoxidil

This particular substance is available in 5 percent solution and 2 percent solution. Once again, it’s important to note that this is treatment and not a hair loss cure. You are likely to start experiencing all the issues of hair loss no more than three to six months after you stop the treatment. With this in mind, common side effects include dry skin, limited effectiveness and losing hair upon concluding the treatment.

Rather than taking the risk and experiencing nasty, sexual related side effects, try It Really Works Vitamins.

It Really Works Vitamins have zero side effects and are made from entirely natural ingredients.  Our vitamins are suitable for Vegetarians, Vegans and are Halal and Kosher.
